Rural Educational Connections
We exist to solve problems and build connections in rural educational settings by building social and educational connections between the USA and Madagascar.

Book Programs
Mailing or delivering books in French, Malagasy, and English for our tiny library. The library needs foreign language books, dictionaries, Bibles, and teacher training materials.Â

Guest Accommodations
A guest house has been built. It needs finishing touches and appliances.
Health and Dental Care
Our clinic is temporarily closed. We need to be able to pay the minimum monthly salary for a doctor. We are still in desperate need of more supplies and over the counter medicine. Anti-parasite medicine is the biggest need at the time.
Proper Storage
Proper storage for food and supplies is needed. Someone must shop daily for supplies to cook for 250+ students. Currently pursing more efficient options.
Education Buildings
School buildings are in need of significant repairs or reconstruction. Our wooden desks and benches often break. More sturdy long-term solutions are needed.
Clean Water
Sanitary water for cooking and drinking is needed. Kids have almost no access to clean water. Sanitation and hygiene are priorities.
We are committed to connecting individuals, businesses and organizations to rural schools in Madagascar
Our goal is to provide our partners with opportunities to connect with the Nirnia School’s students, teachers, and staff. These connections foster and improve student experiences.
Kind Words from Our Network
Extreme Needs
- Children in Madagascar have a 58% probability of being stunted in growth
- Primary school completion rate is 62% for girls and 57% for boys
- Healthcare in rural areas is almost always nonexistent
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.   Galatians 6:10

Learning & Fun
We have been educating children for twenty years. Our goal is to create a school that engages each child.

Healthy Morning Snacks
We serve around 250 students a daily morning snack.

Qualified Teachers
We provide ongoing professional development in order to provide teachers with additional teaching methods.

Curriculum & Library
We are building a school library with books in English, French, and Malagasy. We also have foreign language books for students to learn Spanish, German, and other world languages. Many English easy reader books have been donated, however we continue to expand our library.
